Terms of Service

Adviser Exam Prep provides exam-style knowledge and case-study practice questions, worked explanations, timed mock exams, study notes and progress tracking for the Financial Adviser Exam. The Service is a study aid for your own preparation.

Adviser Exam Prep is an independent study aid for candidates sitting the financial adviser exam. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the exam's administrator or any AFS licensee. "ASIC" is used only to describe the exam. All questions are original practice material, not past or live exam questions, and nothing on this site is financial advice.

The questions, explanations and notes are original practice material written by us. They are not past or live ASIC exam questions, and they are not financial, legal or tax advice. We do not promise any exam result: whether you pass depends on your own preparation and on the exam itself.

You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a pass.

Premium access is sold as a one-time pass, paid in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. A pass does not renew automatically and there is no subscription to cancel. The passes on sale are:

• 1-month pass: A$59 for 30 days of access.
• One-sitting pass (4 months): A$119 for 120 days of access.
• 12-month pass with resit cover: A$179 for 365 days of access.

Prices are in Australian dollars, and the price on the pricing page is the total you pay. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Access starts when your payment is confirmed. If you buy another pass, the extra time is added to any access you have left. Your dashboard shows the exact end date.

Full refund within 7 days of payment if you have answered fewer than 20% of the question bank since paying. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Resit cover: on the 12-month pass, sit the exam while your pass is active and don't pass, and we add 90 days free. To claim, send us your exam result notice through the feedback form or by email within 30 days of the result. We add 90 days to your pass, free, each time you don't pass a sitting while it is active. Resit cover does not apply to the 1-month or 4-month passes. The promise extends your access; it is not a refund, and we do not promise any exam result.

Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Australian Consumer Law) or under any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund whatever else these Terms or our Refund Policy say.

Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the Service again or refunding the price you paid for it.

You may use the Service for your own exam preparation. You may not:

• share your account or login with anyone else;
• copy, scrape, resell, redistribute or publicly share the questions, explanations or notes, or use bots or other automated means to access or collect them;
• use the content to build another study product or to train an AI model;
• post, submit or share content recalled from a live ASIC exam, here or anywhere else; or
• try to disrupt, break into or reverse-engineer the Service.

The content is our original work, protected by copyright. We may suspend or close an account that breaks this section.

We review our content and date the figures we use, but laws, rates, thresholds and the exam itself change, and study material may contain errors. Check current law and ASIC's published exam information before relying on any figure, and tell us through the feedback form if you spot a mistake.

Signed-in users can share a personal referral link. A friend who buys a pass through your link gets 10% off, and you earn A$10 for each friend who pays. Earnings become available 3days after the friend's purchase, and you can cash out from A$20 as an Amazon.com.au or GiftPay (multi-store)eGift. Rewards are paid as eGifts, not cash. You cannot refer yourself or another account of your own, and we may withhold or cancel a reward if the friend's purchase is refunded or if we reasonably suspect abuse. Subject to section 6, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for business losses, or for exam outcomes, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If you are a consumer in Australia, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the Australian Consumer Law or any other mandatory Australian law, and you may bring proceedings in the courts or tribunals of the Australian state or territory where you live.
