Which information must a PDS include?
Section 1013D(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 (compilation 19 Sep 2026) requires a PDS to include, to the extent a retail client would reasonably require, information about significant benefits, significant risks, the cost of the product and amounts payable after acquisition, commissions, and other matters. Recommendations and client circumstances belong in an SOA, and no PDS may guarantee future returns.
The PDS is about the product; the SOA is about the client.
